OCENS Echo Unlimited app for iPhone and iPad

OCENS Echo Unlimited enables two-way private and personal text messaging to and through the Iridium GO!, Globalstar SatFi and Globalstar 9600. Echo is person to person, not person to machine like other satellite messaging. This means your texts to an Echo friend dependent on a one of these devices reach that friend and that friend only, not to just the device itself and then to the first person who happens to link to the device. Echo friends chat with one another in a personal manner knowing that their conversations are private and protected.

How does it work?
Echo assists the satellite user by holding chat threads until you are ready for them to be transferred through the satellite network. Don’t waste time and money by having to dial and send as you reply to each of your open threads. Instead, Echo waits until all your conversations are complete before it auto-dials and rapidly sends your outbound messages. It receives any messages waiting for you from each of your Echo friends at the same time. The number of new messages from each of your friends is then associated with each thread and posted to Echo’s main screen.

Echo uses less than a second of airtime to send each message. And the more messages you burst or group together the shorter the amount of time to send each message.

Inbound Alerts
Echo uses push notifications to alert its users connected through network connections that they have an Echo message. The number of new messages from each friend are posted to the main Echo screen.

Use Echo and Eliminate International Texting Fees!
Iridium is treated as a foreign country by all cellular carriers. These carriers can charge US$15 per month or US$0.50 per message and sometimes even apply overage rates in order to text to an Iridium phone. Echo users do NOT need to activate international texting service on their smartphone to send texts. Instead, the Echo Unlimited provides unlimited texting for just $1.99 per month. Echo does not charge an overage fee. Echo users sending from a GO! do use Iridium airtime to send their messages.

Subscription and Auto-Renewal
Your Echo Unlimited monthly fee is $1.99 and provides unlimited messaging during this one month period. Thereafter, your subscription will auto-renew for $1.99 per month until such time as you terminate your auto-renewal through your iTunes account. The renewal fee will be processed by Apple through your Apple iTunes account.
